Title: SSIS Developer/Report Writer
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Our client in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a SSIS Developer/Report Writer for an exciting opportunity. As an SSIS Developer/Report Writer you will be responsible for managing data flow through the ETL methodology and tools.
Responsibilities:
- Creates and maintains ETL packages for the movement of data in and out of the data warehouse
- Implements business rules in the ETL process
- Troubleshoots and analyzes data and code issues
- Participates in database design discussions
- Collaborates with Data Architects and Report Developers to endure database designs are accurate and support efficient reporting
- Validates ETL designs for accuracy and optimizes ETL processes for best performance
- Performs analysis to prevent data redundancy across systems
- Performs tuning and performance improvements
- Designs, creates and executes test scripts and scenarios
- Performs unit and functional testing of data warehouse modifications
- Designs, develops, maintains and enhances data warehouse applications
- Creates and maintains Analysis Services cubes
- Identify and troubleshoot business process or data quality issues that show up in the
- reports and subsequently communicate to resolve and eliminate problems
- Demonstrates proficiency in developing complex ETL packages and processes to
- support the data movement as required
