MI Data Analyst
Management Information/Reporting/Data/Business Intelligence, Financial Services, Crystal Reports, SQL Server, Data Analysis.
6 month rolling contract
Up to £155 per day
PTS is recruiting on behalf of a global organisation who is seeking to hire an MI Data/Analyst to join their Business Management & Reporting team within this busy Service Centre. The Business Management & Reporting team are responsible for measuring all aspects of operational performance and the delivery of detailed Business Intelligence reports within the centre. As part of the team you will be responsible for analysing large quantities and compiling reports for senior management. You will work with Crystal Reports 2008, SQL Server 2008 R2 and gain exposure to SSIS, SSRS, Oracle and Remedy and HP tools.
Key responsibilities:
Analysis of data to identify trends and process improvements
- Extraction, analysing and delivery of reporting to support problem management
- Live reporting via dashboard interfaces to facilitate operational service management
- Measure customer satisfaction
- Investigation of data anomalies
- Produce ad-hoc reports when requested
- Possess the ability to present these report findings to all levels within the organisation
You will have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint with good attention to detail and demonstrate the ability to apply logic to finding solutions. You will be a team player yet have the initiative to work individually, be highly organised, motivated and be able to prioritise your workload. You will have good reporting skills and be given training in Crystal Reports or another reporting tool and SQL Server 2008, SSRS.SSIS.
Successful candidates will ideally have at least 12 months previous in an MI or data analysis role, have a proven track record of report presentation and have industry experience of formulating, measuring and managing reports. This is an opportunity to join a major successful organisation and play a crucial role in their data analysis and reporting function with exposure to SQL Server SSIS, SSRS, Oracle. The role is based out of their HQ in Derbyshire and offers great facilities and scope to learn.
