One of my key clients has an urgent requirement for a Civil Sub-Agent for a new build Waste to Energy plant in the West Midlands.This will be an initial 6 month contract at a competitive rate of pay with a view to an immediate start for the right candidate.
The company in question are a large engineering group who have won a great deal of work in the new build Power Generation sector and are the Civils contractor on this particular project.
They need an experienced Civil Sub Agent who can join there team at a crucial time of the project and hit the ground running as they have very strict working deadlines which much be met.
In terms of background experience you MUST have a strong Civils background with a formal qualification in the field and ideally experience of reinforced concrete, planning of concrete pours, base slaps, steel structures in particular.
Major site works is also important, ideally within the Power Generation sector on similar scale projects.
HSE is of course a major part of any site work so a strong appreciation of that is essential and also you should possess an SMSTS/ CSCS certs.
