My client a tier 1, global bank is looking for a Service Management Analyst to join their team.
Role: Service Management Analyst
Rate: £440/day
Location: London (Canary Wharf)
Duration: 6 months (rolling)
Summary of role:
The role of the IT Service Management Analyst is to assist in the day to day management of services and to ensure those services meet defined Service and Operational Level Agreements, operate within the agreed service management and governance frameworks and to ensure that running costs are managed effectively.
Principal Accountabilities:
*Impact evaluation and risk assessment of new projects from a Service perspective
*Ensure that new Services are fully supportable
*Manage service risks, working closely with business and Service Management stakeholders
*Manage and control the criteria for service acceptance and operational readiness
*Provide an interface for Service Management into project teams
*Work with Production Support, and other internal teams, to review IT Operational procedures and update them
*Conduct documentation GAP analysis and address the highlighted risk, whilst coordinating the completion of necessary service documentation.
*Updating and designing Sharepoint repositories for a centralized reference point for Service information
*Essential Experience*
* Previous experience working with ITIL
* Solid understanding of Service Management Concepts
* Experience of Disaster Recovery, Operational Process, Capacity and Service protection - NOT incident/problem management.
Ideal Experience:
* Banking/Payments experience
Notice periods of 1 month or less are welcomed.
