FPGA, VHDL, PCB, Verification, Image ProcessingI am currently looking for a hardware design engineer to work on a very innovative and interesting project. You will be taking the lead in the evaluation and hardware implementation of a video based system. This will involve the initial PCB and FPGA design of the system as well as working on the integration and characterising of image sensors.
Location: Oxfordshire
Job Type: Contract
Rates: £35-£45 p/h
Duration: 12+ months
The contract will be written up for a 12 month period but there also the chance for another 12 month extension after this period. There is also an element of home working with the contract.
This is an exiting project where you will be part of team constructed just to work on this new product. The company are an industry leader in their field and you will be working on industry leading, cutting edge technology.
Key Skills:
- Integrating and characterising Image sensors
- Image compression standards (H.264, MJPEG)
- FPGA design
- PCB design
- Design verification in simulation and at board and system level
Desirable Skills (but not essential) :

* Nios processors
