Oracle Forms PL/SQL Developer- Preston- upto £40,000

My Preston-based client is looking for an Oracle developer to join their highly-skilled development team. Reporting to the development manager, you will be dealing with bespoke in-house systems and also be comfortable modifying and fixing existing software solutions.

It is expected you will have experience of the full Software Development Life Cycle and have excellent Oracle PLSQL/Forms/Reports experience. Ensuring all developed solutions meet within company standards, the ideal candidate will be confident in sharing best practice and promoting innovation.
Essential Skills:
  • Demonstrable experience of Oracle 11g RAC, PL/SQL back end development.
  • Ideally around 5 years expertise designing, developing, and delivering system solutions combined with their on-going support and maintenance.
  • Expert knowledge and understanding of 10/11g Forms and Reports.
  • Proven analytical, business data-model design experience, translating solution requirements as defined within functional design specifications, into a technical design Specification.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience developing complex extensions using any of the following - Jbuilder (Oracle Forms), Java and PL/SQL web services utilizing JSON
  • BI Publisher and Workflow development experience.
  • Objective-C, iOS, Xcode 5/6.(x) iOS5,7,8, Cocoa touch, Apple Enterprise Apps transition
  • Classic ASP / HTML, (5), and Java script.
  • Knowledge of maintaining 11gRAC Clustered environments with iAS.
  • Use of All Round Automation's PL/SQL developer suite
