Description
My client, a leading investment bank, is looking for a financial reporting specialist to come on board an exciting new project. The project is focusing on a major analysis of current reporting processes and providing recommendations on improvements for the reporting model.
Key responsibilities:
*To provide reporting subject matter expertise in both financial and/or regulatory reporting.
*Undertake detailed analysis of existing processes
*Create detailed documentation to support the relevant analysis you have undertaken to understand the current process and to design the future one.
*Identify potential changes to existing processes and new ways of doing things to increase efficiency and consistency across the reporting teams
*Provide SME input into the design of new processes to support best in class reporting function
*Develop and propose effective design solutions, to deliver the Reporting Function TOM
Requirements:
*Qualified accountant.
*Experience of reporting across financial and/or regulatory reporting.
*Experience of end to end business/process transformation in a large financial services organisation.
*Data Analysis experience
*Recognised Process improvement methodology experience or certification.
*Proven ability to maintain good stakeholder relations
