I am currently seeking a SQL B.I Developer to work with a client of mine on an interim basis. They have more upcoming projects within their B.I team and if successful within this role, they may take you forward to start on the next project.

Below is an overview of what will be required from you:
  • Develop and support the Information data warehouse and BI systems that are key to maintaining the continuity of the Trust's business and operational processes.
  • A key responsibility of this role is to maintain and develop existing and new reporting and reporting processes using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). You will be working with corporate and divisional analytical staff and liaising with non-technical/analytical staff when necessary to ensure business needs are met.
  • Provide system design and development services for bespoke application and website developments.
  • Liaise with third party suppliers and staff across all levels of the Trust in the planning, design and development of highly complex software system solutions.
  • Assist the Information Services Manager and Technical Managers in the development of complex analytical and information reporting solutions within the Trust ensuring that specifications are to standard and documentation is of the highest quality.
  • Support Business Intelligence Manager by maintaining and monitoring Data Warehouse and other data repository systems.
  • Provide accurate analysis of efficiency and productivity on a regular basis for all users. This will require detailed analysis of many variables and as such you will be required to build credibility for your analyst to the clinical teams.
  • Ability to recommend the best solution for a given situation from a range of options, considering current confidentiality legislation and NHS IT security policies.
  • Involved in complex issues and where necessary recommends appropriate hardware, software or practice changes to Trust software systems, policies and procedures.
  • Plans, directs and implements highly complex software projects that are crucial to Trust operational processes and impacts both clinical and non clinical areas
  • Be able organise self and others and to work on own initiative and within a team.
  • To work to deadlines and prioritise multiple tasks in a busy climate.
  • Involved in several projects at once, using their own judgement to co-ordinate activity between different departments.
  • Makes adjustments to plans and strategies in response to changes in Trust business processes, national reporting and clinical policies and procedures.
