The role will involve the following;
- Elicit requirements using document analysis, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task, workflow analysis.
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
- Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans.
- Strong analytical, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
- Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyse trade-offs between usability and performance needs.
- Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
To be considered for this role you will have experience with the following;
- Minimum of 8 years of Business Analysis experience in the Financial services industry.
- Have worked as a business analyst for at least 6 years.
- Understanding of Fund Management processes on the buy-side from the front to Back Office.
- Strong understanding with preparation and maintenance of cash-flow statements, forecasting and variance analysis and modelling, financial reporting and technical accounting.
- Expertise in collecting and writing excellent business requirements documents/specifications.
- Ability to rationalize requirements collected from different user groups.
