Our client, A leading software company helps forward thinking motor dealers with websites and additional solutions to help drive potential clients / leads to their door. Their specialist team is dedicated in assisting new and used operations reach their full Online potential, whilst also allowing them to save time and money.Due to sustained organic growth, my client is looking to hire a Drupal Developer to be based at their offices in West Sussex.
OVERVIEW
The successful candidate will become an integral part of a growing Development team, Maintaining and developing the clients custom Drupal Distribution, along with assisting with the migration of current sites to the new platform.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Drupal 7 exp,Ideally having already created custom modules.
Relevant Degree and / or at least commercial experience.
Strong PHP, MySQL exp.
Exp with Drupal Theming and module configuration (views, display suite)
Strong exp of HTML, CSS, XML and other web standards.
Exp with LAMP Architecture.
Apache Solr & Tomcat.
Exp with version control systems, GIT preferred.
The ability to manage your time whist working on a wide variety of tasks.
DESIRABLE QUALITIES
Understanding of responsive Drupal websites (Zurb Foundation).
Deploying and managing large groups of Drupal sites using Aegir.
Exp with different caching technologies (Varnish, Nginx, Memcached etc).
Exp with Drupal Commerce
