Description
SSRS Developer - Warrington - £250 P/DAn SSRS developer is required for a 3 month contract with a consultancy, who is delivering a large scale project for a client based in the Warrington area. This project has seen the large scale migration of data from legacy based analogue systems to modern digital based ones, and the final stage of this migration is the re-writing of reports that existed before within the legacy system.

Essential Skills -
- SQL 2008 or higher
- SSRS
- SSMS
- A working knowledge of SSIS
- T-SQL
Desirable -
- A strong background in SSIS
- Knowledge of legacy code and database systems (Delphi, VB6)
- DBA task knowledge (performance tuning, optimisation)
Job Description -
- Migrate old reporting packages from legacy database systems to the new data environment
- Understand the older reporting requirements, and translate these into requirements within the new environment
- Maintain the current data environment and manage current reports already developed by the team
- Write SQL statements and queries to retrieve the data required by the reports
- Develop an efficient reporting solution for the business; based around the SSRS reporting package
Other Comments -
Overtime may be required, and this will be paid at a rate of £33 per hour
