My client is a leading Asset/Investment Manager, who are looking for an Investment Trust Marketing Specialist.
The Investment Trust Marketing Specialist will be responsible for specifically developing and implementing the marketing strategy for a range of investment trusts as well as each individual trust. The individual will work closely with the Head of UK Retail Marketing and the Head of Investment Trusts to establish priorities and messaging across the range of investment trusts. This role will be responsible for planning, co-ordinating and implementing marketing activities across the complete range of marketing disciplines including advertising, events, literature, bespoke tactical campaigns, digital, direct marketing and client communications.
The successful Candidate will be required to Facilitate all aspects of budget management; manage the total budget set aside for investment trust marketing activity and allocate trust-specific expenditure for marketing activity related to promoting individual Trusts. Report on efficiency and effectiveness of the marketing programmes both internally and to each investment trust's Board of Directors. Deliver the marketing content for events, co-marketing, product launches, tactical promotions, advertising and online executions and collaborate with other departments, including investment communications, direct and digital marketing
Essential Experience:
- Strong verbal and written communication skill sets, proven ability and confidence in presenting material at a high level
- Strong understanding of the investment trusts and the investment trust market place
- Strong investment knowledge (IMC)
- VP level with proven experience working in financial services, preferable in asset management, banking or wealth management.
- Strong project management skills, including an ability to move projects forward in a complex environment
- Creative thinker able to deliver messages in an innovative and engaging manner
