Interim Senior Compliance Manager

We are looking to recruit a Senior Compliance professional with experience in the financial services industry in line management and/or consulting roles or as a regulator. The ideal candidate will be a Senior Compliance Manager and it is essential that they have strong knowledge of Financial Insurance and experience of dealing directly with the PRA, FSA or FCA.
Role Responsibilities;
- Monitoring and identifying regulatory developments, providing regular updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Assessing, quantifying and making recommendations with respect to the actual and potential impact of regulatory change on the business to ensure continued compliance.
- Liase with Senior Management and risk and compliance colleagues on relevant aspects of regulatory risk and compliance.
- Reviewing and challenging regional annual Compliance plans and reports to ensure required standards of excellence are met.
- Ensuring Regions are aware of and comply with their monitoring and reporting obligations.
- Support development of relationship between the regulator, group and businesses to ensure appropriate representation.
- Provide input during the development of business propositions and planning/implementation of projects to ensure regulations are met in order to mitigate any business risk.
- Taking appropriate action to address instances of non-compliance, provide early warning of breaches, issues and implications and implement remedial actions both at the Group and local level.
- Conducting compliance monitoring activity to ensure ongoing compliance.
