Our financial services client require a Finance Business Partner to join their team on an initial 6 month contract to be based out of their London based offices.

Job Responsibilities:
Partner with GFD Functions for all matters relating to cost, FTE and business strategy impacting cost/FTE. Assisting with ad-hoc FBP support across the team

Manage the end to end cost and FTE reporting for:
Tax
Internal Audit
Finance Director Office
All of the above for the Head Office business for all planning/forecasting and monitoring risks and opportunities to targets
Main contact for HO Business central planning & reporting team for all month end, ad hoc and planning queries and information requests
Main contact for Functional COO's surrounding all cost reporting and planning
Responsible for control of costs including oversight for all accruals, pre payments, balance sheet attestations and management information to stakeholders
100% validity of all commentary for MI - clear signpost if comments are draft or not understood
Identification and resolution or escalation of risks
Need to communicate to the heads of the departments (minimum Director level), including presenting the monthly financials and STP/MTP/RAF updates.
Highlighting risks & opportunities to the business at all levels, as well as guidance on how to resolve the issues
Challenge the current set-up by finding more efficient ways of servicing the client needs
Ad-hoc FBP support across the wider team
Supporting finance project work

Requirements:

Technical skills:
Excellent MS Office - PowerPoint and excel (required)
Advanced MS Excel skills/modelling preferable
Strong systems experience including SAP, Hyperion preferably and ability to drive system improvements
Track record of success in similar processes at other large financial services companies (preferred)

Qualifications:
Professional Accountancy qualification or equivalent relevant experience eg CIMA, ACA, ACCA (required)
