IPV Database manager/Production support/Contract/LondonAn IPV database manager and production support role has arisen within an investment bank in London.
The contract role is destined to last on a 6 month rolling basis and the role is offering a competitive rate. This IPV database manager and production support role is primarily focused on the management and development of the IPV database that has been growing for the past two years.
The key responsibilities of this role is to manage the ongoing management and development of the existing programme and continued production support with future development projects that aims to reserve and centralise the IPV function.
This role will report directly to the global head of IPV who will want ongoing monthly updates on issues and progress on agreed projects and day to day working day cycle.
This role gives the successful candidate the chance to develop their skills within database management and development, understanding and implementing end user requirements in an accurate and timely manner and a better overview of the IPV process and derivative valuations.
The key competencies and qualifications that my client have asked for include:
- Strong Microsoft Access/VBA skills
- A good understanding of financial derivatives and market data supplier such as Reuters, Bloomberg, Totem/Markit.
- Process change and infrastructure improvement experience gained in a similar environment.
- Some IPV knowledge is desirable but not essential
- Strong analytical skills
