Embedded Software Engineer / Stockport / 35-43K +excellent package and benefitsI am recruiting an Experienced Embedded Software Engineer to enhance the Software Team of one of my key clients near Stockport. This is an excellent opportunity for an established Embedded Software Engineer to work for a world leader in sophisticated measurement electronics.
The purpose of the role is to write, modify and debug software for embedded devices in order to develop, design, integrate and maintain high quality firmware for their range of existing and new products.
To be a successful candidate you must be able to demonstrate a strong background in embedded products including:
- Expertise in Embedded C programming with a strong knowledge of object orientated design for real time embedded products.
- Experience of using automation tools to fully automate the build deployment and management of configurations, writing scripts to remove manual intervention and ensure repeatability.
- The ability to write clear and simple performance critical code (Embedded C) in resource limited environments, including low power, low memory, restricted bandwidth and CPU.
Desirable:
- Agile - Scrum or Clearwater
- Zigbee
- Previous experience developing embedded software for Smart meters
