My Client, a major IT Networks company, is currently looking for a Senior Executive Assistant (EA) to support the SVP. The role will involve you taking on general administrative EA duties for the SVP in the form of extensive diary, travel and expense management - as well as booking meetings and preparing documents such as board packs, briefing notes etc.

As the Senior Executive Assistant (EA) your main responsibilities will include:

  • Manage schedules including all appointments, emails and meetings and related arrangements
  • Prioritise all incoming correspondence including email, responding appropriately
  • Screening telephone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate
  • Meeting and greeting visitors at all levels of seniority
  • Producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations
  • Ensuring the management team is well-prepared for meetings
  • Attend to internal approval forms and processes
  • Manage diary and co-ordinate travel arrangements, prepare daily and weekly schedules
  • Liaise with other members of staff where necessary and ensure required reports/documentation are ready and completed to high standards set against target dates
  • Manage meetings, arrange conferences, new business pitches and co-ordinate diaries of other staff
  • Manage all incoming calls, prioritise messages and call reminders
  • Assist with ad hoc client work

Skills/Competencies (Desirable):

  • Concern for accuracy and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Global mind-set
  • Exposure of working as an EA to board level staff, with advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office package
  • Excellent attention to detail and high competency with written and verbal communication, coupled with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively whilst working under pressure are also highly desirable skills
  • You will be articulate, confident and have the ability to work under pressure with a meticulous attitude
  • Able to cope with multiple priorities and changing environment
  • Flexible approach to changing needs of the role
  • Discretion and Confidentiality
