Quantity Surveyor - Telecoms/Civils/Construction
An experienced Quantity Surveyor is required to join a global managed services company on a contract basis.
The purpose of this position is to manage the site construction costs for large telecommunications projects to assess and evaluate costs provided by partners. You will also be required to ass value to engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the partner and/or client.
- Undertaking cost analysis for project work.
- Indentifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks.
- Preparing and analysing costs for tenders.
- Valuing completed work and approving of payments.
- Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations.
- providing advice on contractual claims.
Key skills required:
- RICS or CIOB accreditation
- Extensive experience within construction, civils or telecoms.
- Experience and knowledge of network deployment and delivery projects.
- Experience of working with blue chip clients.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing contractors and sub-contractors.
