DESCRIPTION:
As a P/T QA Research Assistant, you will be responsible for utilizing multiple proprietary applications to process client orders related to pre-employment background screenings. You will also perform quality assurance (QA) on those background search results, ensuring data fields are accurate & complete.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Use various proprietary applications to process customer orders for instant criminal data search results(background screening).
- Performs QA on those criminal data results, ensuring data fields are accurate and meet the established quality standards.
- Utilize the Internet to supplement criminal & address records.
- Identify possible bugs (defects), document and provide possible solutions to the IT dept.
- Provide enhancement requests and works with development team in implementation (ie design suggestions and pre-deployment testing).
- Handle confidential information responsibly & with good judgment.
- Establish strong working relationships with peers and other departments.
- Work on multiple projects in a team environment
REQUIREMENTS:
- Detail-oriented, organized & the ability to multi-task.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills (Internet, Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging work environment.
- Works under general supervision
