For our customer we are looking for a Oracle Consultant

In-depth knowledge in the Oracle core infrastructure components area and Linux/Unix.

Open minded, motivated, commited and fast learning.

Teamplayer.

Review and design appropriate and stable solutions, which improve the environment.

Able to manage an Oracle database from it's creation until it is decommissioned.

Able to develop utilities and automate work using Scripting and OEM12c.

Knowledge of ITIL and Remedy.

Manage Oracle databases - create, patch, upgrade, maintain objects and performance tuning - at Unix and Linux in a physical and virtual environment with ASM and DataGuard.

Manage configuration and provisioning of databases using tools like Oracle Enterprise Manager12c.

Document, standardize and automate the environment using Best practices and using automated processes. If not existing you suggest/implement those.

Manage Data Protection using RMAN. Manage Flashback, Compression, Partitioning.

You have some years of experience using Oracle Enterprise Manager.

Contribute to the best of breed for I&O's Database platform.

Likes to exchange ideas, listen for other ideas/suggestions without being smart/I know better' in your attitude. Never do the same twice without considering automatization.

Programming skills:

Kornshell, PLSQL etc.
