Group Reporting Accountant - Insurance/Financial Services - London
Group Reporting Accountant role for FTSE100 financial services company based in the London. This is an initial 3 month contract looking to start at the beginning of January 2015, paying between £ a day.
Applicants for this Group Reporting Accountant role should have a good understanding of IFRS based reporting, UKGAAP and have proficient knowledge of the Insurance and Finance/Financial industry.
The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for the IFRS reporting outputs and consolidations. There will also be involvement in the setting up of audit files and prepping statutory accounts.
Key skills/experience includes:
- Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ACMA.......)
- Strong Excel skills
- Good working knowledge of generic finance and accounting processes/systems.
- Knowledge of IFRS based reporting
- Life and Pensions experience is desirable
- Ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders
