Role Purpose:
The Micro-electronics Operator will be responsible for the assembly of Micro-electronics components in accordance with Manufacturing Instructions and drawings, certification procedures, defined workmanship standards, allocated budgets and time scales to match project objectives

Accountabilities:
*Assembly of Micro-electronic components in accordance with Manufacturing Instructions drawings.
*Completion of Route Cards and manufacturing documentation.
*Work in accordance with Clean Room operating procedures and disciplines.
*Inspection of own work to published workmanship standards.
*Perform routine daily and weekly preventative maintenance activities on process equipment.
*Adhere in all activities to agreed standards and behaviours.

Performance Indicators:

Skills and Knowledge:
*Experience of Micro-electronic assembly processes preferred but not essential including:
*Wire Bonding
*Die Attach (including Eutectic die attach, epoxy dispensing and pick and place)
*Substrate attachment
*Micro-soldering
*Familiar with MIL-STD-883 standards for micro-electronic assembly and IPC-A-610.
*Familiar with work in a Clean Room environment.
*Manual dexterity essential - handling of miniature and fragile parts with vacuum tools and tweezers.
*Ability to handle and assemble miniature components using a stereo zoom microscope.
*Ability to produce consistent quality of workmanship on repetitive manual and semi-automated processes.
*Must show initiative and a desire to learn and develop new skills.
*Ability to inspect own work to specified standards.
*Must be able to work within and contribute to a team environment.
*Understand and work to Company Processes and Procedures
