I am keen to speak to candidates looking for a challenging contract role in Sydney. The role involves SQL Server 2012 Development and using the BI stack (Primarily SSIS and SSRS).

The role involves:

  • Managing daily operations such as reporting, file handling, data reports and SSIS
  • Development and implementation of new functionalities to a range of databases. Assessment and improvement of otnt of the current solution is required
  • Ensure up-to-date and relevant reports are available to the business.
  • Facilitation of workshops and solution reviews with relevant stakeholders.
  • Training of the key end users on the database changes and communicating new developments
  • Developing a good understanding of the CRM database, marketing database and be the SME for the database
  • Manage the UAT function for MIS changes, including managing business testers and management
  • Create standardized reports, data cubes and enabling the business to achieve reporting self sufficiency

To be considered for the role you will possess:

  • Experience developing with Microsoft SQL server 2012
  • Experience developing with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Experience developing with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • Experience developing with SQL Server Analyst Services (SSAS)
  • Proven experience in Microsoft programming language
  • Version Management and Release Management experience
  • Experience of all SQL Server stack applications relating to BI and DWH
  • Excellent working knowledge of all MS Office packages
  • An understanding of business needs and ability to make informed recommendations
  • You must possess a Degree or higher qualification (ideally in ICT)
