WebSphere Integration Consultant - 3 months
My client in the consultancy space is looking for a WebSphere Consultant for an initial 3 month contract in Dublin.
Duties
- Contribute to the build and unit test effort, if required, and have a knowledge of WebSphere Message Broker, Shell Scripts, Perl scripts, and zOS Mainframe Cobol, JCL, OPC.
- Perform analysis on existing systems to determine any impact of change. This includes the CTI Adapter, interfaces with GPP, interfaces with Core Services, interfaces with IBIS and interfaces with SWIFT.
- Produce design documentation (visio diagrams and Word documents for technical specifications) to suit the needs of the project. The level of detail in these documents is determined by the type of build ie onshore (less detailed) or offshore (very detailed).
- Coach and QA work of junior team members.
- Promote code to System Test Environment and thereafter, provide Release Notes to the test teams to enable them get their environments set up.
- This will include what code is to be promoted, what tables to be set up and providing the DDL, along with any MQ Queues which are to be set up, scripts to be deployed or subscriptions to be set up.
