Description
OCH Contractor
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience with Siebel implementations and at least 2 year experience in integration development for Siebel interfaces to enterprise applications.
Technical Skills
Must have advanced proficiency using Siebel Tools, including:
- Configuration skills: Applets, Views, Screens, Business Components, Joins, Links, PickLists, Workflow Processes, etc.
- eScripting/SiebelVB experience, especially for data validation or business process validation that can't be done through configuration.
- Must have extensive Siebel EAI experience implementing integrations, including the use of:
- Web Services
- Integration Objects
- Data Maps
- Business Services
- Virtual Business Components
- Workflow Processes
- ODBC connections for SQL execution
- Must have through knowledge and understanding of functional and technical out-of-the-box features & modules of Siebel.
- Must have SQL Scripting experience & understanding of relational database concepts.
- Must be knowledgeable of Siebel best practices regarding configuration and Scripting.
Work to be Done:
Provide analysis, design, development, testing, performance tuning and deployment for new enhancements and expansion of the Siebel 8.1/Open UI implementation at Elsevier, including new functionality and new modules.
