THE PROJECT:
An established Electronics company in Essex who design complex and cutting edge safety control systems have a 9 month contract requirement (which is likely to extend) for a Senior Electronics Engineer.
For this role you should have High Speed Digital board level design skills. Having recently moved to Mentor Graphics DxDesigner for schematic capture, it is desirable if you have experience with this package. Alternatively OrCAD will be considered.
On this project you will be designing a high speed digital interface where you will be using DDR technology. The board you will be working on has FPGA's and Microprocessors on, although you won't be doing any work inside the FPGA.
This role gives you the opportunity to work with some top Engineers in a challenging, but friendly and enjoyable working environment.
Experience designing products for a safety criticial environment (such as Aerospace, Automotive, Oil & Gas etc) is desirable but not essential for the role.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
1. High Speed Digital board level design
2. Board level design with DDR technologies or SERDES or LVDS
3. Mentor Graphics DxDesigner or OrCAD experience
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:
4. JTAG
5. Safety Critical Design
