Embedded Software Engineer, Embedded C, C++, RTOS, MISRA, OO Design, £40-£45ph, Cambridgeshire, South EastTHE PROJECT:
A global Electronics company in Cambridgeshire have an immediate 6 month requirement for an Embedded Software Engineer.
For this role you should be a strong Embedded C programmer with RTOS experience (Nucleus, VxWorks etc).
Although you will be programming in Embedded C, the platform is designed in a C++/ Object Oriented way. It is therefore important you understand the principles of C++ and would be confident being able to read C++ code and describing what is going on.
On this project you will be developing code to the MISRA C coding guidelines. It is desirable if you have MISRA C experience or other Safety Critical Coding Guideline experience (used in industries such Automotive, Aerospace, Medical or Oil & Gas).

SKILLS REQUIRED:
1. Embedded C

4. Coding standards experience (ideally MISRA C or other safety critical coding standards)
