Nature of the tasks :
DBD : Database Developer.
Specific : Oracle, SQL & Java
Typical tasks of a database developer in the IT unit are:
Analysis of the requirements and production of specifications
Data analysis and modelling
Development and maintenance of application database layers including queries or stored procedures
Apply security rules, standards and guidelines
Implementing change requests
Elaboration of test programs
Production of technical documentation
Assist with deployment and configuration of the system
Assist with the training of the users
Apply RUP methodology and best practices
Participate in meeting with system owners
Mandatory skills : In depth knowledge of SQL and ORACLE
In depth knowledge of Java
In depth knowledge of the design and development of web and multi-tier internet applications
Good knowledge of software development methodologies (preferably RUP)
Good knowledge of modelling tools and techniques (preferably UML)
Good knowledge of HTML/XHTML, XML, XSLT, CSS, JavaScript
Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments
Ability to work in team.
Ability to work in English (written and oral).
Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment and experience in team working.
