Modeler - Technical AnalystData warehouse Analyst and designer
Responsibilities:
• For the extension of an existing data warehouse (PMO-BI): Several source systems and fact tables will need to be added. Analysis of business requirements, and translation of these requirements in updates to the warehouse structure and specifications for the ETL.
• For the same warehouse: possibly, proposal for new structures in light of the improved knowledge around typical queries
Technical skills:
• Windows OS + MS Office
• ETL tool : Informatica PowerCenter 9.1
• Cognos 10 (Report Studio, Analysis Studio, Metrics Studio, Event Studio, Go Office, ...)
• Oracle 11
• ERwin Data Modeling
• IDQ (Information and Data Quality)
• DataVault
• Analysis, design of warehouse solutions (+5 years)
Personal skills:
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and in writing
• Eager
• Capable of performing to the bone analysis in a short time
• Capable of writing precise and complete documentation
- Some flexibility in working hours is required
- Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision;
- Quick learner, motivated self-starter;
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills;
- Able to follow change management for internal guidelines.
