Mechanical Engineer - 3-6 months Compact Moulding Design- Dundee - £28-30 Per HourROLE: Mechanical Engineer
LOCATION: Dundee
RATE: £28-30 Per Hour
LENTGH: 3-6 Months
(design, testing and evaluation of mechanical and electro-mechanical devices and systems, Pro/E, integrated electronics design, Plastic component design)
My client is a key player in consumer transaction technologies. Working across a wide range of industries including; Retail, financial, Public Sector, hospitality etc.
You will be working on high tech product development activities; this will include board layout drawings and interpreting and implanting customer specifications. You will be expected to provide work leadership and training to lower lower level technical staff as well as Supervise and assist other designers working on the project. You will ensure potential areas of sink, bloom are removed move cores from the design to ensure simple component design.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Experienced Design Engineer
- Pro/E
- Experience of full product lifecycle design
- Design around integrated electronics
- Extensive knowledge for the design of compact mouldings (concept to production)
- Excellent communication skills
- 3 years industry experience
