My client a tier 1 global bank is looking for a Finance IT Senior Test Lead to join their team.
Role: Finance IT Test Lead
Rate: £517/day
Duration: 6 months (rolling)
Location: London (Canary Wharf)
Responsible for:
- Coordinate testing for the Finance IT accounting stream
- Participate in hands on testing
- Provide regional or local direction of testing activities to meet the goal of improved quality and service availability in the live environment
- Develop and maintain high quality relationships with fellow test leads in Finance and the overall programme
- Oversee the definition and construction of large scale test environments
- Actively manage the defect process, ensuring that defect fixing and investigation is inline with project priorities
- Appropriate escalation of issues affecting test execution and test preparation
- Managing key relationships between development and business analyst teams to ensure they work with the test team effectively
- Managing and working with off shore test teams
- Managing complete sets of test phases including System Test, TURF (FTP Specific), SIT and IT Support of UAT, Performance and OAT
**Essential Requirements**
- 5+ years working in financial services
- Significant experience working within Finance IT
- Strong knowledge of SQL and Unix
- Quality Centre
