Description
I currently have an opportunity for a Software Engineer with experience of Embedded Development in Automotive environments or development of Electronic Products and Embedded Devices for application within the Automotive sector.The position is based within Bicester in Oxfordshire with an organisation who develop Specialist Lighting solutions.
The role will involve development across the full Software life-cycle, working alongside team members and liaising with other Engineering team, developing to industry standards and reporting to the Technical Director within a small-medium organisation.
In the short-term the role will focus on development of Automotive projects almost exclusively, whereas over the long-term, the remit of your role would extend to other areas.
The successful candidate will have experience in some or all of the following areas:
Embedded C, C++
Full Project Life-cycle and experience of a deeply Embedded Firmware environment
Microprocessors/controllers - ideally ARM Cortex and DSPs
Real-Time Operating Systems
CANbus
Experience with Agile Methodology would also be ideal
Requirements Capture, Testing and Documentation
