Senior Business Analyst (CONTRACT) - Stakeholder/Change/Lead
Are you a Senior Business Analyst based in the North West, looking for a new challenge?
McGregor Boyall are currently working with a financial organisation in the North West who are currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst on a contract basis, to take responsibility for identifying, quantifying, planning and controlling all business related activity on a project/programme. You should ideally have proven experience of being able to lead a team of Business Analysts in supporting complex change initiatives and have an understanding of BA methods and disciplines. You should have ideally had exposure to Prince2 methodologies and be able to analyse, map and design. The Senior Business Analyst will be reporting to the Lead Business Analyst and the Project Manager.
To be considered for the Senior Business Analyst role, you should ideally be able to:-
- Actively contribute to the realisation of the project aims and objectives, and the contribution of Business Analysis to those aims and objectives
- Manage specific Business Analysis workstreams on major business change projects to provide specialist, objective analytical insight based on work completed by Subject Matter Experts (SME's) or Business Analysts on a project/programme
- Lead and input the production of:
- Business Functionality Overviews (BFO)
- Project analytical fact base.
- Project Business Requirements definition (high and detailed level).
- Project Business Operational design (high and detailed level).
- Project change impact assessments.
- Test scenarios, test conditions, test data and test scripts for User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Assess, design, develop and implement new or enhanced business processes, systems, products and services that are the deliverables from a change project as part of an overall strategic business change programme
As a Senior Business Analyst role, you should ideally have the following:-
- Proven ability to lead a medium/complex change initiative
- Range of proven strong analytical ability
- Understanding of Business Analysts methods and disciplines
- Track record of delivering high-quality analysis and deliverables
- Experience on a number of IT and Business Projects/Programmes
- Ideally experienced in the use of requirements software
- Ideally have formal external qualification/accreditation (ISEBs, BCS Diploma in Business Analysis or IIBA CCBA, IIBA CBAP )
- High degree of organisational awareness
