This is an excellent opportunity for a Hyperion Support manager to join a leading Telecoms company on a global project providing support to there financial reporting systems. This unique opportunity is a very high profile piece of work and will give an in-depth exposure of how a complex company currently operates and will give the individual the opportunity to transition them to best-practice for future reporting.

The role itself will cover a wide range of responsibilities and it will be necessary to provide the following:

  • Manages global Incident Support resources in Amsterdam, London and Denver.
  • Coordinates with the change management and the development teams on GHS related initiatives.
  • Manages the allocation of global resources to ensure a high standard of knowledge and responsiveness for incident queries in accordance with our general SLA.
  • Performs independent analysis of complex problems and requests; able to judge when requests are not correct and recommends adjustments.
  • Assesses problem trends, identifies root causes, and uses judgement in recommending practical approaches to solve the real problem.
  • Develops and implements Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) policies and procedures in coordination with the Compliance Manager.
  • Mentors team members and facilitates their development.
  • Participates in, or provides support for EPM special projects as a member of a global team.
  • Works with third party vendors to solve application related issues.
  • Demonstrates the ability to interact with various members of management in the user community as peers with questions pertaining to EPM-related user issues.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

  • Bachelor's degree Accounting, Finance or business systems or equivalent applicable experience.
  • 7 years' experience related to Accounting, Finance or Business Systems.
  • 3 years of experience managing teams and project management training and experience.
  • 3 - 5 years application implementation and support experience, specifically in an Oracle EPM environment.
  • Oracle HFM Administrator, Implementation, Consultant Certifications a plus
  • Experience in Visual Basic for Applications and Oracle EPM. SQL knowledge also a plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of basic accounting or financial principles.
  • Strong English communication skills, both oral and written.
