Job Description:
My client is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join their team in Dublin as a Senior Storage Consultant as soon as possible.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Build an Enterprise Linux Capability to cover DR, System refreshes, backups and restores
- Skills/Knowledge Transfer
- Document Best practices for RHEL operational tasks
- Preventative maintenance tasks to ensure IT systems are operational and secure and to prevent future incidents
- Incident and problem resolution, maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction possible
- Design and implementation of backup and disaster recovery procedures
Experience Required:
Nominated resources would need to have the following experience:
- Relevant degree with 5 years' experience
- AIX, HPUX and RHEL experience
- Certified RHEL System Administrator with relevant hands-on admin experience
- Excellent process methodology
- Ability to problem solve and be proactive when faced with a challenge
- Thorough understanding of VMware environment
- SAN storage/Hardware
- Networker
- Relevant experience in building DR solutions on a VMware/RHEL/XIV environment
- Bash Shell Scripting experience
