Next Ventures are currently executing a search for an experienced Senior Low Power/Wideband PA Specialist.

We are currently looking for a Senior Low Power/Wideband PA Specialist to our Engineering
Competence Center in Kista, to take on the challenge of identifying, prototyping and by verification
proving and showing which PA architectures and semiconductor technologies (GaAs, GaN, SiGe,
LDMOS, CMOS, etc) are optimum for certain given specifications. Part of the challenge is also to identify, analyze and propose new technologies and solutions with implementation potential for low power, wideband and/or tunable RF, microwave and mm-wave transceivers. We expect the Senior Specialist to contribute with his/her creative ideas to our innovative environment in which sharing of profound insights and knowledge will be part of everyday work. The work is carried out in very close cooperation with our system design teams in Kista as well as our head office.

Qualifications in the following areas are preferred:
years R&D experience in the area of innovative, highly integrated, active RF or microwave
circuits and systems
Solid experience from design of PAs for manufacturing with at least one of the main foundries
(eg Triquint, Win, UMS), but familiarity with other foundry processes are also appreciated
Good knowledge of RF package design and verification
A thorough understanding of the engineering technology (wafer/package manufacturing
processes, quality requirements and cost analysis)
Experience of architecture design and modelling of quadrature or polar RF-DAC PA transmitter
including digital baseband using Matlab, Simulink, ADS, SystemVue or similar system
simulation tools is also appreciated
International publications and/or patents
Capability to plan and individually drive technology and concept research projects
Good communication skills, both in written and spoken English
