Description
Software Developer with testing background expected to analyze, plan, co-ordinate, perform, follow-up and report test activities for a complex Digital TV solution (located in Moscow) and its interfaces towards various systems at customer side (BSS nodes, CDN, DVB and IP Networks) Accountable for test deliverables from each work stream that has been identified from the Statement of Work, Statement of Compliance and Solution.
Responsibilities Include
- Design and deliver test scenarios
- Perform internal, integration and end-to-end testing
- Lead user acceptance testing for external customers
- Manage test resources dedicated to each work stream
- Provide detailed feedback for integration engineers and system developers
- Track and report testing progress
Competencies
- In depth knowledge of software development models and test phases
- Strong knowledge of test methods and technologies
- Knowledge of Unix-based operation systems, Linux preferably
- Excellent knowledge of IP Networking, Internet technologies and Web services
- Working knowledge of Databases such as MySQL and/or Oracle
- Knowledge from IPTV area is a plus (Middleware, CAS, VoD, Hybrid STB)
Personal Skills
- Excellent English, Russian (both written and spoken) in Mandatory
