Senior Developer for OTC Derivatives - Our client, a large international financial services company is currently looking for experienced developer for an FX / IRD Project team within Investment Banking IT.

Description:
  • An interesting role to liaise with Business analysts and technical project team members in order to develop solutions according to business needs
  • A role which will focus especially on interfaces between various applications
  • Develop and validate existing interface enhancements
  • Improve system and interface performance.
  • Responsibility to develop, test and support the implementation of technical solutions that address the defined technical solutions according to functional requirements of the IRD's and FX options business on a middle-back-office area.


Required Skillset:
  • Design and write complex technical solutions to enhance current Middle-Back-Office environment in the area of IRD's and FX/PM derivatives using SQL and PL_SQL.
  • Very good technical understanding about interface technologies and interactions within a broader technical landscape
  • Good database modelling and SQL knowledge (Oracle)
  • Good knowledge about SVN, MQ and Java
  • Able to administer various test environments using UNIX and shell scripts
  • Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
  • Good communication skills in English (main working language), German would be an additional advantage
