For our client, a globally active firm in Barcelona, we are looking to staff a Senior .NET Developer to start on 01 Dec, 2014
Job Description
• Your main task will be software development in .NET/C#
Must Haves
• Strong .NET core programming skills (C#): WCF, WWF, ASP.NET, Silverlight, Win Forms, WPF, LINQ, Entity Framework, eventually Enterprise Library, instrumentation and profiling with .NET, security with .NET
• Unit testing, automated integration test, eventually automated UI integration tests, mocks
• Code refactoring
• Continuous Integration: automated builds
• Continuous Delivery: automated deployments
Nice to Haves
• Performance troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of the products: Visual Studio 2012 and above, TFS 2012, IIS
• Very good SCRUM knowledge, strong estimations skills and tasks slicing, act proactive, work alone and identify solutions for the day to day tasks, coach other junior team members (act as a mentor, coach, senior developer); be able to make suggestion to architects and best practices; present findings, assessments, documentation in a professional manner to the architects and development lead; strong tester perspective
• Native Spanish speaker preferred but English is also a must (good level spoken and written),
• Ideally Microsoft Developer certifications (MCTS, MCSD, MCPD would be an advantage)

Start Date: 01 Dec, 2014 or by agreement
Duration: 13 Months with extension
