Wordpress DeveloperLooking for a new contract? Do you have experience of developing Wordpress sites from scratch? Do you enjoy mentoring junior developers during contracts? This Wordpress developer role will combine the day to day duties of a developer whilst mentoring a junior developer at the same time to leave a lasting legacy within the development team.
Scope of work
An experience Wordpress guru is needed to continue the work of a developer who has left the business and not finished the project he was working on which has put the client in danger of losing a large client and slowing their expansion plans.
You will
- Work closely with the development manager and agree time scales for project milestones
- Help to mentor the Junior Wordpress developer who will eventually take over from you.
- Hit all project targets as agreed
- Code all part of the Wordpress site in line with development best practices.
- Complete the current project on time

They currently offer the best in bespoke recruitment software solutions and database solutions for recruitment companies, since they formed 10 years ago they have more than doubled their market share. They build all of their back office solutions in Wordpress and using Wordpress API plug in's.
Desired Skills
Experience in developing with the following: Wordpress, Wordpress pugin's, Ajax, HTML, CSS, Wordpress Themes, PHP, Jquery, Web API's, MySQL, LESS and PHP
Can use Wordpress plug ins to register post-types and taxonomies
Use word press in built HTTP API methods.
