Lead Service Transition Engineer up to £720 p/dayLocation: Canary Wharf
Leading Investment Bank requires a Strong DevOps engineer & release manager (Lead Service Transition Engineer) responsible for release and deployment management, scripting & automation, monitoring, and support tooling
Key Skills/Experience/Competencies: (As many of the following as possible)
Infrastructure including firewalls, load balancers, webservers, websocket brokers, and associated technologies and concepts (DNS, CDN's,etc)
Strong Linux & Unix
A solid understanding of the SDLC in agile teams, specifically CD automation
Jira, Git/Stash, Confluence, TeamCity, Splunk
Java, AMQ, kaazing, 29 West, HTML5 / Javascript
RDBMS's, NoSQL and clustered caches
Puppet, Chef or Salt-Stack
Cloud and Virtualisation technologies
Contract: 6 - 12 months rolling
Rate: Up to £720 per day
Notice: Up to 4 weeks
