Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Windows System and Server Engineer for a long term contract.
You will have the following skills and experience:
- Strong background and experience managing, maintaining and supporting Windows Desktop and Virtualised Windows Server Environments
- Maintain Desktop Application distribution and update process using SCCM
- Demonstrated understanding of software development life cycles and software configuration management.
- Manage and Maintain MS Exchange Servers
- Strong troubleshooting and resolution skills
- Experience with upgrading and implementing Windows products
- Relevant experience in supporting mission critical 24x7 systems
- Knowledge and understanding of security issues and processes around ICT systems in classified environments.
- Experience with in SQL Server 2005, 2008 or 2012.
- Experience with CommVault or Netbackup products
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint
- Experience with SAN and Network management and support
- Experience with setting up Windows High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR)
- ITIL knowledge.
- Project management knowledge.
