I have a great opportunity working for a major investment bank. My client is in the market for someone from a development background to work supporting the development team within this Front Office business area. You will work alongside the development team to improve the estates performance, reliability and resilience. You will drive activity and host workshops around standards and best practice. You will have a good understanding of working in a agile environment and will have supported development tools, jira being the most importance. This position will require someone with programming/Scripting experience as well as good understanding of continuous integration as you will be setting up the infrastructure and tools for the DevOps environment.
Key Skills:
- Development experience
- AGILE working practices
- Good prog/Scripting: Java, python, ruby, Perl
- Previous Tools experience preferably within a financial environment
