iOS Developer - Contract 3-6 months

Responsibility

If you are an iOS Application Developer and you're interested in making ground-breaking consumer apps within our company that powers some of the highest revenue generating travel M-commerce sites, then please read on:

  • Working closely with external customers, and internal teams (Product, QA, Architecture etc.), you will develop core platform and reusable components for our iOS applications using iOS technologies including cocoapods, autolayout, Calabash-ios, push notifications, etc.)
  • Using the latest technology (eg MacBookPros, iPhone5 for testing etc) you will be heavily involved in the definition of the product UI and UX wise
  • Design and deliver new application features, taking end to end technical ownership from inception through to test, integration and delivery
  • Work with agile Product Owners and Scrum Master to define user stories, refine the product backlog and create high value apps
  • Create and maintain high quality technical design and sprint documentation at all stages in the development life cycle
  • You will be responsible for continuing to acquire new skills and to proactively keep on top of latest iOS and mobile technology trends,

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2+ years commercial IOS development, having (either as a team or individually) published at least 2 or more solid iOS applications to the App store
  • Agile development experience a distinct advantage
  • you will need great attention to detail, and be innately driven to deliver superior quality work with a creative flair
  • Experience of git and source control
  • Must know your way comfortably around core data, core graphics and core animation
  • Must love all things cocoa!
  • Experience with UIKit and networking (working with JSON etc), working with concurrent apps, security aspects etc.
  • Experienced working with QA to conduct Unit and UI automated tests
  • Ability to work well in an agile team
