A leading Satellite Ground Equipment manufacturer who designs, develops and integrates telecom and security projects are seeking a Project Manager who has experience with Electrical Ground System Equipment for space-borne structures like the Automated Transfer Vehicle (ATV).Job description
You will be specifically responsible for the following:
* Project definition
* Management and organisation of the project start-up: preparation and making of the necessary project plans, planning, communication, kick-off meetings
* Information gathering & distribution
* Definition of the quality norms and control of these norms
* Negotiate and assemble resources
* Budgeting
* Project planning (overall)
* Definition of the possible impact of proposed implementations and/or project changes
* Organisation of and participation in reviews and project meetings
* Decision making in consultation with the team
* Progress tracking: evaluation of the 'earned value'
* Motivate
* Report/escalation process
* Management of project risks
* External representation of the project
* Coordination and daily management of his project team's tasks: detail planning, follow-up, implementation, documentation
We are looking for a Project Manager with 5 years' experience in HW/SW R&D projects. R&D Product Development - Satellite Space Modems Ideally SW Based (VHDL) Device Drivers in C++
Job competences
* You are good in English (Dutch and French are an asset).
