SQL developer

A SQL Developer is required to work on a unique piece of work within the NHS. You will be a core part of the development team adding your expertise to create ideas and have a big say in the data base design.

The scope of work

You will be working on a unique project where you will be responsible for the design & develop an electronic cancer patient tracking system, candidates must have excellent SQL knowledge, NHS experience, any Cancer data, SCR (Somerset Cancer Registry).

You will have

- Utilising SQL 2008 SSIS create real time electronic tracking of cancer patient along their pathway (replicating paper tracking cards)

- Linking electronic tracking card to Somerset Cancer Registry to obtain source data from SCR

- To support monitoring of cancer pathways tumour groups from receipt of referral to commencement of treatment (1stand subsequent)

- Development of key milestone and exception reports at trigger points in the pathway - at an aggregate and patient level using both retrospective and prospective data.

- Create work lists for Cancer trackers

- Fulfil all weekly, monthly & quarterly reporting both local & national

- Qlikview skills would also be advantageous for candidates

This role is due to start within the next 4-6 weeks but the client would get the ideal candidate started as soon as possible. The contract is for 3 months and the client is paying £250 to £320 depending on the candidate
