Job Description:
Designs software to automate steps for complex procedures to increase productivity of Network Operations, Tier II and IT teams. Analyzes Network and designs Work flow automations to provide self service capability replacing routine, error prone, and tedious tasks that computers can perform a whole lot faster than people. Interact with NOC, Tier II and Service Assurance teams to explore cost effective business opportunities for automation. Design Workflows using Multithreading concepts and effective design patterns. Come up with robust and scalable designs covering presentation layer, controller layer and EIT layers (Remote connections using Telnet/SSH/DB protocols) covering various aspects such as logging, error handling, alerting etc. Designs and implements proof of concept projects and communicates effectively in translating business requirements into technical requirements. Coordinates E2E SDLC of the project by working closely with the Design Management team and Development team.

SKILLS:

Minimum Required Skills/Competencies:

  • Hands on experience in designing and developing workflow automations
  • Strong knowledge in Object Oriented concepts
  • Strong foundation in Telecommunications Networks
  • Strong knowledge and experience in E2E Wireless Network Architecture (Core Network, RAN Network, IP Network)
  • Strong knowledge and experience working on GSM, UMTS and LTE Technologies
  • Strong knowledge of Network Management domain (FCAPS)
  • Strong knowledge of various vendor equipment, such as Ericsson, Nokia, Cisco, Alcatel-Lucent etc..
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Strong Analytical and Communication skills.
  • Experience of working on Resolve automation software is a plus
  • Experience of working on Groovy is a plus
  • Experience of working in Java is a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering
  • 2-4 years of design and development experience in Network Management domain (FCAPS)
  • 6+ years of relevant Telecommunications experience

Preferred skills:
  • 6-8 years experience in software development, software design or business process design (example: process modelling, use case analysis, etc) and implementation preferred
  • 6-8 years minimum experience in telecommunications industry preferred
