Description
I am currently in need of a DevOps Engineer with AWS and Puppet on Linux to work in Dublin for 3 months starting a week on Monday.
Skills required for the DevOps Engineer:
* Work as a key team member in our clients DevOps Engineering team.
* Consult and advise clients on Amazon Web Services.
* Produce technical specifications and documentation to be used throughout Infrastructure build and management
* Define DevOp user stories in collaboration with DevOp Engineers, Business Owners and other client stakeholders
* Ensure quality of artefacts are maintained, enhance the standards and processes of environment management, and help ensure Standards and Processes are adhered to.
* Assist in the definition of Continuous Deployment pipelines in collaboration with software development teams
* Work closely with the DevOp leads and management team to define technology solution requirements
* Continue to help push the edge of Continuous Delivery across all Scrum teams and with DevOps colleagues
Requirements:
* A minimum of five years commercial IT experience
* Experience working in an environment that has implemented some or all aspects of a true DevOps setup (eg Continuous Integration, Infrastructure Automation, Cloud Infrastructure, Environment Monitoring etc.)
* A strong technical background with some Scripting skills
* Exposure in working with Puppet
* Hands-on Scrum experience
* Good attention to detail and strong documentation/presentation skills
