Service Desk Team Leader. ITIL Certified.

My client is looking for an ITIL Certified Service Desk Team Leader whose role would be to oversee the 2nd Line technical support team comprising of 6 people (3 Server/3 Network) to provide IS service to a high level, and ensure that the end users are receiving appropriate assistance & support.

The ideal candidate must be an experienced ITIL certified Service Desk Team Leader who is capable of the following:

  • Man management of team and engaging with other managers
  • Has a breadth of experience and who can act as a solid base of reference for the team.
  • Setting up SLA's, working with and monitoring 3rd party service providers
  • A high level of enthusiasm & a strong self-starter are essential attributes.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee policies and procedures to ensure consistent service levels
  • Responsible for staffing capacity planning, implementation of change onto production systems, performance analysis, and developing proactive resolution plans.
  • Technical skills of relevance: Windows Server/VMware/MS Exchange/Avaya/Networking
