SQL SSAS Specialist, Investment banking, LondonSQL SSAS specialist data warehouse developer is required by my client who is based within the financial services sector in the heart of London. My clients need for a strong SQL SSAS specialist data warehouse developer is because they are looking to grow their team who have been building a new data warehousing platform. This is a very strong team who are at the forefront of their space within the fixed income. The team itself has been building strong scalable solutions within this area for a while and by having an additional SQL SSAS developer they will be able to build out his new data warehouse platform to provide unique reports to the rest of the business managers, traders, product control etc.
This SQL data warehouse niche team is looking to expand due to the investment in this area from the business which is down to the approach they take on being able to deliver pure cutting edge technologies to different business areas for their demanding client base rapidly. The role needs a strong SQL SSAS data warehouse developer who has the ability to utilise the full Business Intelligence stack with a large emphasis in SSAS however they are still utilising the SSIS and SSRS technology as well.
This role will require the SQL SSAS data warehouse developer to work on various areas of the build and will have exposure to liaise directly with the business on a daily basis.
This is a contract role with competitive day rates up to £550pd salary and benefits package.
Essential Skills
- Investment Banking Knowledge is an Essential Skill for this role at least 2-3 years experience is required.
- Strong SQL Data warehousing development experience including SQL 2012
- Creation of SSAS Cubes including design and build - Strong MDX experience
- Proven experience within the full BI stack
- Proven experience in cube creation
- Inmon methodology in previous roles and a good understanding of it would be highly desirable
- Experience within investment banking is ESSENTIAL
